Voigtlander has announced that a NOKTON 50mm F1 Asperical lens will be coming in March 2024 exclusively for Sony E-mount cameras.
Sadly other than the single photo no other details have been made available at this time.

Well, it’s not a rumour!
I wonder how sharp it will be wide open? I guess it’s manual focus, like all Voigtlander lenses. At f/1 I imagine the depth of field will be razor thin – inhale and you’ll lose focus!
Still, this is definitely a lens for shooting in available dark!
