Is it possible to fit another lenshood on the new 50mm 2.5 g lens instead of the original? I don't like the original ones.

That lens has a 49mm filter thread. A quick google showed metal and rubber lens hoods that will fit that thread. All the ones I found were black, though, so if the thing you don’t like is the colour, you may need to get creative

Check on ebay as I have seen a few on there but not sure if there is one you want but it's worth a try.
