That is a truly stunning shot, how close where you?

I feel a bit meek putting this one up as I really don't feel it compares. 14 point stag after wallowing in urine and mud. It's thought that this helps spread his scent and the darker colouration makes him more intimidating to other stags.

Hi Dave, firstly lovely shot....... I was a safe, respectful distance away 600mm with heavy crop (thank you A1) really not good at estimating distance but probably 30m away but they did come in my direction not me getting closer !
