Sony A1 A1 + 200-600 focus problem after 2.01 firmware update

Since I updated my A1 firmware to 2.01, I’ve been having intermittent focus problem with my 200-600. It works fine for a while then the EVF goes dull and the EVF F stop indicator goes to F- and the camera won’t focus. Turning off then on again sometimes works but a couple of times the EVF has remained black after turning on. Taking out the battery and re-inserting it solves the problem (until next time!). Has anyone else had this problem? I googled it and a thread on the DPReview forum showed a couple of people with the same problem.

Yes I've had the same problem the last time out but I noticed my battery was 5% so I changed it out and that fixed the issue. that's the first time that has happened after the update.
I've noticed that a low battery seems have problems since new. Now I'm wondering if that what the stability means in the update?

I am having a lot of focusing issues with my A1+200-600.. mostly far out focus. Sometimes if I pull back and focus then zoom in it will work, other times I have to turn off the camera and turn it back on. It is getting very frustrating.

What A1 firmware version are you using?
