Will pixel peep them later, but wanted to try my new-to-me Sony 16-55 f2.8 G lens at wide open aperture to see how it looks. These two were downloaded straight from camera using creative app.

I have 3; Abby here, she is the friendliest of the bunch. Thankfully I got her during a calm moment and the animal eye autofocus could do it's thing.

He looks like a good size of a cat. My son had a Ginger tom cat and got so well known in his street that neighbours would knock on their door and hand over food for him. Sadly he has gone now due to age. Nice set of shots as well I should say.

Not much gained by editing if I'm honest. This lens is indeed sharp at wide open aperture at 55mm. Incidentally, I did find that on the wide end, the lens really needs lens correction because of vignetting, but I'll save that for another thread.
