Well it looks like my new bird feeders appear to be working rather too well now, as we spotted two sparrowhawks in the garden this morning! The little birds had unsurprisingly all vanished. Unfortunately both shot through the closed window again! Looks like a male and female. Hopefully they leave the goldfinch alone that has only just arrived. Plenty of starlings and pigeons for them to feast on
