Family time at the beach from an amateur A7ii user. 50mm Lens. ISO was at 6400 on some of the darker images, not too sure if this was a little excessive

Agreed. The processing is very unique. I used to be a Lumix user but hated the focus. The boy flipping missed focus some so I'd work on learning the focus options on this camera, but I do love the processing.
 
@Clide, you may be successful in getting another generation interested if you can keep cellphones out of their hands!

I have a tendency to buy old cameras. One bin-full I bought had a perfectly usable Polaroid SX-70 Rainbow in it. After a quick cleanup I bought some film from my local store, showed my grandkids how to use it and let them each take four images. At $20/8 it can get expensive real fast!

Anyway, the click of the shutter, the loud whirring noise of the motor ejecting the photos, and the anticipation while watching the photo develop was just priceless!
