2nd Place - The second place winner will receive a $20 (US dollar) voucher for Amazon.
3rd Place - The joy of taking part.

There are no alternative prize or cash options, so if you are unable to accept an Amazon voucher I'm afraid you will miss out on the prize. Edited. I made a trip out to the enormous petrochemical refineries just outside Edmonton. Canada specifically Alberta is known for oil and gas. This is InterPipeline's Heartland Petrochemical Complex. The yellow paint on all the hand rails caught my eye and actually compliments the blue roofs and sky!

This is one image from a set taken during a brunch visit to the The Farm in Phoenix, Arizona back at the end of May 2024. This truck has clearly seen better "mechanical" days but made for a great photo subject.

Taken with my Sony A7R5 on the 40/2.5G and post-processed with PhotoLab 7.

A big thanks to everyone who entered and voted in this months competition.

1st place with 17 votes was @Landshark99 with a lovely shot of the inner workings of a mechanical Omega watch. I can dream! :)
2nd place with 9 votes was @evacguy with a beautifully captured shot of the escalators in Holborn underground station, London.
3rd place with 5 votes was @MikeWPM with a cracking shot of the Canadian Snowbirds on Canada Day.

I'll be in touch soon to arrange the prizes for 1st and 2nd.

Our August competition will be kicking off tomorrow and this time the theme will be reflections.
