3rd Place - The joy of taking part.

There are no alternative prize or cash options, so if you are unable to accept an Amazon voucher I'm afraid you will miss out on the prize. This will be interesting 🙂

Does LEGO Technic count? It is in motorcycle form;) Perhaps not but I'll share this unique shot anyway. I have some ideas for other shots and will edit this post with a new shot if/when it happens.

So about this shot: I picked up a macro lens a few months back and have been looking for ways to use it and learn about that world. Initially, I just took a shot of the LEGO motorcycle by itself. For this challenge I was also thinking about whether I could incorporate the classic Zeiss Ikon Continette camera somehow. Each thing by themselves wasn't quite doing it for me. Then I had the idea to try a "photo of a photo" shooting through the Zeiss Ikon Continette with the back and shutter held open. It was a real challenge to get everything lined up properly and in focus. To cap it off, I did an HDR shot to get both the brightly lit motorcycle and the darker back of the camera lit up.
