This swallow was not happy I was even sort of close by. Just after this a bunch of them started to dive bomb me haha. I did my best to get a picture of them swooping at me but it was extremely difficult since they fly so fast!

A Canada Goose from a couple of days ago. I liked his pose in this picture, he looks so confident, almost showing off.

Have you updated the firmware for it Terry? That made a difference to mine for sure.

No I haven’t. I hate doing those, and if my Sons won’t do it, it doesn’t get done. I’ve accomplished what I set out to do with it so I’ll probably sell it.

So none of these are good but just kind of fun.

This is a red tailed hawk that was starting to circle over a marsh area. Some of the local residents were not happy about that.
First we have the early responder:

He is doing what Is called "gular fluttering," with his mouth , tongue and throat to help him cool off, even as he also is gently ruffling his wings, too, for the same reason.

A Spotted Redshank. A bird I have missed out on seeing for a good few years, so it was a pleasure to finally catch up with one at Minsmere recently. Big crops on these as he was a bit distant and the light was tricky.

Mrs Kingfisher at Ranworth Broad today. The first Kingfisher I've photographed in over a year, and a pleasure to see. The male and her were swapping perches and chasing.

Nice Kev I have been watching one on and off for over a year but it is always off before I get a shot

Cheers Gary. I was aware they had been seen recently at this hide, but it's still utter luck of timing or sitting for hours to get shots. I will go and sit, when it's a brighter day. It was OK today but I'd have liked lower ISO.
