yes look at the metadata in fact i sometimes still shoot with 200-600mm especially if i am not hiking or walking kilometers ,the 500 is easier to hand hold which helps also it is has great rendering i doubt once cropped it is a noticeable iq difference over the 200-600 if matched it handles poor light better and backlight situations ,same with the 300mm f2.8 with 2x no noticeable difference over the 200-600mm in sharpness ,i have just watched you tube guy ollie https://youtu.be/KxNvZnplMaU?si=mIiarRaE7f3chzRd of course the primes have some advantage especially the 300 mm with f2.8 and bokeh
