My local museum has the most complete triceratops skeleton ever unearthed on permanent display.

Now they have a visiting display of the second most complete Tyrannosaurus Rex. Her name is Victoria. The display opened yesterday.

I took a number of shots, but this one gives you an idea what the display looks like. Fairly dark, lit with a variety of bright lights.

This was shot with the 20-70mm G lens at 20mm (yet another time I've been glad it goes to 20mm!). at f/5, ISO 800, 1/5 on the A9 III. Not all of the people are sharp (1/5 is a long time!) but the IBIS in the A9 III really did the job on the display. I didn't realise that I'd get starbursts on the two lights up on the left - pretty!

Super picture in challenging circumstances.

With a visiting female, are they hoping for eggs?

I’ve been to the Melbourne Museum but it was a long time ago.
