Is that the first one since the renovations? I've considered going to Canberra for a dawn service one year. (Fast running out of them)

Geez that Tamron aperture resolution is next level
😄

This was the Melbourne service. My maternal grandfather was serving in Darwin when it was bombed, his son was born on Anzac day, and one of my mothers cousins spent much of WWII in Changi. I haven't been able to get to the service for a couple of years but this year it worked out

I watch what I could of the ANZAC Day on the tele and I like what you have posted.
Wonderful to see so many turn out to honour ours and New Zealand's fallen.

Keeping to the subject of honouring our son was born on ANZAC day and I find this a great
tribute to them all as we gave life on this day and this will stay with us forever.

My late Uncle was also born on Anzac day Ralph. For most of his 89 years he began each birthday with the dawn service.

My grandad used to march with pride every Anzac day. He served in the British Army in WWI and WWII. He would get into his old uniform, put on his medals and march with other vets in the Melbourne parade. It's the only time I'd see grandad 'worse for wear'.
Lest we forget, RIP grandad.
