Hi all hope your all enjoying the Euros
Toying with the idea of buying another lens (second hand) I have a Sony 200-600 which I'm trying to master with the Sony A911 I have a Macro
lens A mount and a wide angle Lens A mount .Have an adaptor A mount to E mount I like the Sony 70-400 I'm try to snap birds and wildlife is
There any other lenses I should be considering .....Thank you Gary

The 100-400 GM is a nice lens.

Tricky given your intended subject. There really is much need for anything other than the 200 600, it's the lens that is rarely off of my camera. As you have the 70-200 you are covered for the short end too. As Terry says, the 100 400 is very good, but pricey, and I don't think the Sigma equivalent is good enough personally. The only other lenses I have considered are the Tamron 50-400 and the new Sigma 500 5.6.

Long glass tends to be pricy - the 200-600 covers the common range (there are third party 150-600, but why would you when you have the 200-600?)

The next step up is a big one - like the Sigma 500 f/5.6 (not cheap!), or the Sony 300 GM (even more not cheap!), and then you move into the “do I want to buy a used car or a lens” territory with the 400 GM and 600 GM.

Oh, one thing to consider is perhaps the 1.4x teleconverter - it’s not expensive, and lets you get a bit more reach, at the cost of a stop. The 1.4x works OK with the 200-600.
