Sony A7 IV Captured photo not as sharp as preview in viewfinder

Friends,

I’ve been using my A7 IV a lot more lately and I noticed something kind of weird, when I’m looking through the viewfinder the pictures is really sharp but then when I take the picture, the captured photo is a little less sharp. It’s not blurry, but it’s not as Sharp as the view finder view. Can anyone explain this to me?

I'm not expert by any means, but as I understand it the viewfinder image is a jpeg which has undergone basic processing by the camera, whereas the output may not have that degree of sharpening, certainly not if your output is RAW.
