Most of the time these astro events are a bust for me it is either too cloudy, too dim to be seen from my area or happening well after pumpkin hour. This time however I was able to at least get an image.

Lucky you got to see it. Too many clouds on the horizon for me to catch a glimpse
 
It is actually quite high in the sky now and at it is not as bright as they seemed to suggest so you will need binoculars to find it. Also it is only visible for like an hour starting around 30 mins after sunset.
 
Yes, the window to see this comet is closing quickly. The supermoon tonight will also make for a brighter sky and increase the difficulty in spotting the comet.
