A few shots from my weekend, spent photographing a dog jumping and agility competition. It is really amazing to see these dogs and what they and their handlers are capable of.

Yes, I'm not really a fan of miniature and toy poodles (more of a border collie person), but must admit the little poodles make for very interesting shots when they do these jumping courses .

Thank you. Interestingly, the one thing most dogs seem to love, is the tunnel. The courses in the higher grades are often built in such a way that the dogs are tempted with a tunnel when they are supposed to take another obstacle, just to test the handler's skills. So if you want to give the dogs a really good time, get a few tunnels.

The courses in the higher grades are often built in such a way that the dogs are tempted with a tunnel when they are supposed to take another obstacle, just to test the handler's skills. So if you want to give the dogs a really good time, get a few tunnels.

We do have a couple of 3 meter tunnels. Although they are drainage tunnels which we've buried in the ground. Helps to stop them being stolen! They are popular but most seem to prefer playing in the sandpit

I can imagine the sandpit being popular. My dogs love digging in the garden
