Thanks, I do have the megapixels, 50mp, but i feel this composition works for me. Rule of thirds, looking into space on the left. Not a fan of tight crops. Sometimes its about the environment in which the animal/bird lives.

No problems, but rules are also made to be broken, sometimes.

Completely agree. However I did try a tighter crop, but it did not feel right to me. Thanks again though for liking the image and the suggestion on cropping.

I think this is pretty spot on personally. I wouldn't want to loose the reflection & the flamingo has some head room.
