Hi folks, - my real name is Paul, and I have just joined. Been photographing for 50+ years, the last 10 of which has been using the Fujifilm X series. Yesterday, my friend had lent me his A7CR and some glass, and I am am gob smacked about the quality! Hence joining your forums, to find out more.

I am up for some serious testing, followed by head scratching to decide if I can dump my entire Fuji gear and jump ship. Not an easy decision with 20 lenses, 3 cameras and 5 flash guns.

Anyway, thank you for letting me in. I will share a few images later...

Cheers,
Paul, a.k.a. the Sydney Grasshopper

Welcome aboard Paul.
The A7C series and A6700 are great, compact, camera bodies. The only two things most people complain about are lack of second card slot and low resolution EVF. Other than that, those of us who own those cameras are OK with the compromises.

G'day Paul, welcome to the forum. I'm looking forward to seeing your photographs. What do you shoot?

Hi Paul, I have the A7CR which I use for travelling light when I don't want the bulk and presence of my A1.

It's an awesome camera with a couple of limitations. The viewfinder, which has been mentioned, the lack of second slot, which has never caused me an issue and the limited frame rate which isn't high enough for me for bird photography.

Mostly I like to use it with a compact lens such as the 40 f2.5 for street photography. The massive sensor resolution allows for a lot of cropping.

Welcome to the forum.
