Hi,

New to the forum. Located in northern Alberta.

Was primarily a Nikon DSLR guy, but started playing with the a6XXX cameras as lightweight options.

Now I'm kitting out a new A7iv. Looking forward to the learning experience!

Currently debating a few of the non-telephoto GMs. (I use my Nikon 7500 for high-zoom work). I also plan to play with my Sony APS-C lenses to see what I can get out of them. I really enjoy using prime's, compared to variables.

I already have:

FE:

• FE 20 mm F1.8 G​

• FE 28-70mm F3.5-5.6 OSS (kit lens)​

E:

• E 35mm F1.8 OSS ​

• E 10-18mm F4 OSS​

• E PZ 16-50mm F3.5-5.6 OSS​

• A 7Aritisans Macro that works surprisingly well.​

..and a bunch of Nikon lenses with adapters.​

It's definitely worth trying out your APS-C lenses first on the a7 IV, you should really have any issues with them besides the crop.
