Hi people does anyone know if any of the big ef mount cannon lens play nice with sony cameras

So does anybody know if any of the big cannon prime lenses work well on sony mirrorless and if there are any decent mount adaptors, any comments, experiences

No personal experience, but I have seen plenty of shots from people using them and by all accounts they work very well. I don't think the lens engineering is much different. The adaptor they use is the Sigma MC-11. It's

Thanks Kev it seems here in the UK there are heaps of cheapish prime cannon lenses for sale, and Sony seem to have limited the lea -5 and camera line ups it works well on for some reason. Until retirement arrives the 400 2.8 will be on hold and the flagship Sony as I dont have the time to justify them yet.

Yep. A far greater used lens base to pull from I guess. Very few Sony primes get sold.
