What has been your best Bird and Nature tours in the world that you can recommend for my wife and I?

I have done 3 different tours with Tropical Birding and can say that they have all been quite good. The guides have all been very knowledgeable in both the local bird species and the general area. (especially Zac Babbit) I also like that they have tours that are "birding", "birding with a camera" and "photography". I like the BwC tours as they are nice balance of species count but also time spent with some to get good shots. The Photography tours are something that I would consider as a 2nd or 3rd tour of an area. The BwC tours are also good if one of you is a photographer and the other is a birder/bird interested.

I've heard good things about the Rockjumper Tours though these all come from birders and not photographers. They have photography tours but I don't know how balanced they are between birding and photography. Trips with this company also tend to be longer in total days and I just haven't had the PTO time to take a trip with them.

American Birding Association generally has a few trips a year with one or two international trips which are usually run by companies like Tropical Birding or Rockjumper. The international trips usually get large enough attendance that they are split into subgroups (6-8 people) with ones being some type of photography centric. You do have to be a member to signup for the trips, which are usually very good prices, but that is only $30 for a year.

Tours I've done:
Thailand - ABA trip using Tropical Birding
Southern Ecuador BwC - Tropical Birding
Costa Rica BwC - Tropical Birding
