While looking at a pair of baby Wedge-tailed Eagles (Australia's Largest Bird of prey) I looked up the track and seen this.
A lovely 4 to 5 foot King Brown Snake. While I moved in for more shots it stopped and I thought it was going to come back out.
But sadly it kept on it's track. I was so happy to get this one
My 1st sighting of this one
Tasting the air
Getting through the low weeds
Right on track
And the forked tongue is there for all to see and a shot I hoped to get.
