I just purchase A1 with firmware update 1.3. I also follow and purchased Steve Perry ebook. Finally ready to jump into custom function buttons section and they are different menu options than in book based on I think version 1.02. Anyone having the exact same experienc?

I think you will do better with mark galers A1 set up book and adjust for your specific needs whilst drawing on steve perrys as needed....

Mark smith who is another prominent birder on your tube also has an a1 set up video.

Any problems fire them in to this forum and someone will answer any queries you have.....good luck
