Looking for an alternative for the 200-600

Hey guys, so I have the massive 200-600 lens fir my sony A7iv and a TC that gives me an amazing 840 mm zoom. I also love the fact that the zoom is internal. The weight is annoying and carrying it is quite a hassle... any other options perhaps? Any ideas? Can I use a lighter sigma / Tamron lens with a Sony TC? Or a tamron lens with the same TC?

I don't want to sell it but I feel that the lens is a bit too much for me. Plane spotting is difficult with such a massive lens when catchung a quick plane passing by.

Any Ideas guys?

Only select Sony lens can be used with the TC.

Sony 200-600G f/5.6-6.3 weight is 2115g
Sigma 150-600mm F5-6.3 DG DN OS weight is 2100g
Sigma 60-600mm F4.5-6.3 DG DN OS weight is 2495g
Sony 100-400GM + 1.4x is 140-560mm f/7-8 weight is 1562g
Sony 100-400GM + 2x is 200-800mm f/9-11 weight is 1602g
Sony 300GM + 1.4x is 420mm f/4.5 weight is 1637g
Sony 300GM + 2x is 600mm f/5.6 weight is 1677g

15g of physical weight saving isn't enough to switch plus you can't use a teleconverter. The 100-400GM will save weight at the cost of ~1/2 a stop. The 300GM will save weight at the cost of flexibility. Both the 100-400 and 300 will save additional weight in the pocket.
