Did a bit of an experiment at the seasonal light show at my favorite tropical garden: I chose to use the Sigma 16mm and a 1/4 black mist filter on my A6700 for the entire exhibit. Some parts of the garden had mist and lasers, others a mixture of projected light and darkness. The results were mostly poor, but here's what I managed to save in editing...

That’s a pretty good effort I reckon. It’s difficult to get good results in conditions like that.
 
Challenging conditions indeed. wife laughed at me for trying, but I told her if I don't practice, I won't get better!
