At my old house, we used to have feeders up and they were regular visitors to our apple tree where they hung. These days, because we travel a lot, we don't feed the birds.

I do however own a bit of woodland and nuthatches and treecreepers are regular sightings. Both incredibly beautiful birds and thoroughly absorbing to observe. I'll have to see if I can dig out a snap or two.

If any of you are into wild camping whether it's in tents, campers or whatever, we can always arrange a get together in the woods (how weird does that sound?).
