Landscape NW Italy - My new homeland

My first photo as a newcomer. Since a few years I'm living as resident in the north-western part of the province of Asti. Beside the mostly pleasant weather the overload on beautiful scenery was another consideration to live here. Is it expensive? Not at all. Is it crowded? Nope. The photo is taken from the main square of our little village which lies on a hilltop. We are looking westwards with the village of Cinzano on the foreground. The Cottian Alps are on the background. For geologists this is really a stunning environment. But this is primarily a photo group.

My opinion: Is it great scenery? Yes! Is it great photography? Not really. But I have to start somewhere.
