The hustle and bustle of Republic Street (just down from the city gate). To the left is the beautiful Palazzo Ferreria, built in the late 19th century and now Maltese Government Offices, with shops on the ground floor. To the right is Pjazza Teatru Rjal, the Renzo Piano reconstructed Opera House. On the corner is the bronze by Michele Oka Doner called, the Palm Goddess of Malta.
