Sigma has announced an all-in-one superzoom for the APSC E-mount: 16-300mm, a huge range. That is slightly better than Tamron's 18-300, and like the Tamron's VC, the Sigma also has Optical Stability (OS) built into the lens.

I'm surprised Sony Alpha Rumor missed this one. Maybe he doesn't have sources at Sigma, or maybe he just doesn't care about APSC as much?

Enjoy the videos and music you love, upload original content, and share it all with friends, family, and the world on YouTube.

Cons:
- Variable aperture means people will probably complain it doesn't do well in low light, but its just how physics works: a compromise must be made if you want small and light construction.
- Take the "macro" claims with a grain of salt though, its a 1:2 @ 70mm, which is "close-up" but technically not "Macro" capability.

This lens promises to do it all.
