. . . wow is it solid. The upper control dials go thunk thunk thunk, not snick snick snick. I haven't felt controls this solid since my Canon F1. I also love the locking buttons on each dial—no more accidental program shifts in the middle of a high-energy shoot. How they fit a full-frame sensor in a body the same size as my Lumix GX8 I'll never figure. Looking forward to exploring further.

I like the build quality of my A7R3 compared to my A99II. Great cameras for sure.
