A few more shots (and the one already posted) of the magnificent Sparrowhawk yesterday. Just look at the ISO, it's rare to get light that allows these shutter speeds at that ISO at f7.1 in the UK. Absolutely stunning bird.

Great photos. As you say unusually good light. I'm normally at ss1000 & iso 12000, though I do take a lot of shots, so comes with the territory.
