Tamron has announced two brand new zoom lenses for Sony E-mount. The 11-20mm F/2.8 Di III-A RXD for APS-C cameras and the 150-500mm F/5-6.7 Di III VC VXD for full-frame cameras.
The Tamron 11–20mm F2.8 Di III-A RXD is already available to pre-order and should start shipping on June 24th. This lens will cost $829.00 in the US and £819.00 in the UK.
The Tamron 150–500mm F5–6.7 Di III VC VXD is also already available to pre-order and should start shipping on June 10. This lens will cost $1,399.00 in the US and £1,379.00 in the UK. However, at this price point it means that the Tamron is just $600 dollars cheaper than the excellent Sony FE 200-600 lens in the US, and only £220 cheaper in the UK at current prices.
