Travel The Rock of Gibralter

Gibralter is a British oversea territory. It is attatched to the mainland of Spain and only has an area of roughly two and a half square miles. We parked in the Port area and walked in, this involved a fifteen minute queue to get through passport control.

It feels like Britain (apart from the pleasant weather) and things are priced in pounds, you can pay in euros, but you will get a terrible exchange rate.

Prices are steep for the "attractions", entry to the natural reserve is £25 per adult, a two hour tour by minibus is £42.

And there are macaques, quite cute Monkeys that have a tendency for robbery with violence. Despite numerous signs, we saw several parents getting their offspring to pose next to them. I've seen a man get bitten by a monkey, and stayed well away.

It rained the night we arrived, it threatened rain the morning we went over, the sun eventually came out, it rained the morning we left. It was very refreshing.
