We had a trip to the zoo yesterday, but there is always native wildlife in the grounds. This Treecreeper flew low across my path and then sat dead still on this tree for a good 30 seconds or so, giving me time to adjust settings and grab this shot. She flew to her nest about 3 ft away after. That's a fine selection of spiders and insects for her young.

What a great shot, I love the way you have the background, really makes the wonderful subject pop.
 
30 seconds. The bird just wanted to show off his catch.
