Sony A1II using CAMSET files between models

Hi everyone,
I was kicking around the idea of trying to load a CAMSET file from my a1 ii, and loading it on the a9 iii, so I gave it a go.
Nope, won't work.
Even though I changed the file name from
SONY>SETTING>1M2>CAMSET>camset01.dat
to
SONY>SETTING>9M3>CAMSET>camset01.dat

it wouldn't load.
It did allow me to attempt to load, so it was able to see the file in the correct folder, but that was the best I could do.
Just thought I would post this as I was unable to find anything online about attempting this.

Just won’t work. Each camera has different settings, and so the files differ in vital ways.

Heck, sometimes the CAMSET files aren’t even compatible across different firmware versions of the same hardware (infamously, the A1 on either side of firmware 1.35 (I think that’s the number) - cannot load a CAMSET from before updating into the same camera post updating).
