I don't see a thread specifically for waterfall photos so thought I would see if we can get one started. On our way home from a vacation near the Great Smoky Mountains we too a route that included a couple of waterfalls. Here are a few shots to get things started.
Our first stop was at a falls we have visited before. Dry Falls near Highlands, NC, USA is easily accessed with a set of steps where you can get views from the falls from several angles. This shot is at the top of the final descent.

After crossing under the falls you can get a shot from the other side.

We then drove another 45 minutes or so to see Upper Whitewater Falls. This waterfall claims to be the highest falls east of the Rockey Mountains at 411 feet. Down the river a bit is the is Lower Whitewater Falls in South Carolina which drops 200 feet. The Upper Whitewater Falls are easily reached by a paved path to the first viewing deck and then 154 steps down to a lower deck. The total distance is only a quarter mile or so. This shot is from the upper deck.
