I'm visiting family, and it's become a tradition to go birding when I'm here. It was an uncommonly cold day (-17 degrees), so we rarely got out of the car. Instead, we cruised along slowly, scanning the tops of fence posts, and light and power posts. Three hundred kilometres later, this was the most interesting thing I saw.

I love road tripping and I love road photos, so this really is a pretty interesting photo for me.

ST I was up Morinville way over the holiday and missed them by 2 weeks. I was checking the birding app on the computer and they where way down East of Calgary about a 5 hour drive. Oh well there's next year!
