A few shots from my weekend, spent photographing a dog jumping and agility competition. It is really amazing to see these dogs and what they and their handlers are capable of.

Those are some really great action shots! The first one is especially cool.

Great shots!
Thanks Jeff

Thanks Tom.
Yes, I'm not really a fan of miniature and toy poodles (more of a border collie person), but must admit the little poodles make for very interesting shots when they do these jumping courses 😁.

Glorious pictures. That first one has warmed my heart and made me laugh in what is being a rather bad week: Thank you so much for that!

Great collection of shots! I love the hoops. Might add something like this to our field in time.

Thank you. Interestingly, the one thing most dogs seem to love, is the tunnel. The courses in the higher grades are often built in such a way that the dogs are tempted with a tunnel when they are supposed to take another obstacle, just to test the handler's skills. So if you want to give the dogs a really good time, get a few tunnels.

We do have a couple of 3 meter tunnels. Although they are drainage tunnels which we've buried in the ground. Helps to stop them being stolen! :) They are popular but most seem to prefer playing in the sandpit :)

I can imagine the sandpit being popular. My dogs love digging in the garden 🤣

Great shots, I love number 7, that border collie looks determined, and really looks like he is flying. The first shot made me laugh, a wonderful photograph.

Thank you. That flying border collie is the baby in our house, just turned 2 and in his first major competition, occasionally still a bit unfocused, but a thing of beauty to watch when he decides to turn it on.

I'm not a great fan of poodles but have to admit that they often make for very interesting photos in these competitions.
