  1. Yes
I shot both the girls' and boys' basketball games on Tuesday. Here are some shots of the girls' game.

This shot was just before the ball went shooting past me into the stands and the player ran into me. It worked out fine as we are both ok.

This shot amused me with the player and ref in step with each other.

A few more shots from a girls' basketball game from earlier this week. I decided to travel light and only took my Samyang 35-150mm f/2-2.8.

A few shots from last night of the same team, just a year later. I was mainly there to shoot a special presentation to a previous coach so I only took my Samyang 35-150mm f/2-28 lens. I love this lens for basketball. It's nice to not have to switch from my go-to 70-200 to get a wider view.

As my reply to your other thread: Great shots. And great to see some action taken with the A7RV.

Thank you. I do like the A7RV and Samyang combo. While it would be nice at times to have the higher FPS I was used to 5 or so with my Pentax K1 so 10 FPS has been nice.

I was using a Pentax K-3ii before I moved to the A7RV.

Great action shots, really like them. You must be pretty close to the action using a 35-105mm lens @35mm or 40 mm?

Yes, I was either standing or sitting right behind the baseline near the lane.

I just posted photos in an old Boys' BBall thread so thought I would do the same for the girls' game. #2 and #30 were the seniors on the team so I found it interesting to see the older photos when they were sophomores and juniors.

The other team had the ball with under 30 seconds left in the half so I was gathering my stuff when I saw the home team get the ball back. I quickly swung my camera up to get this shot from half-court showing the score. The shot went in so the halftime score was 23-20.

Great shots. I had the feeling of fluidity in your shots. Nice work. What is going on in the second last photograph on the floor of court? It looks like there is water on the surface?

Thank you. The darker area you mention is actually a design on the floor. It represents the view of the mountains around the area. I need to get a photo from above the floor of the whole court.
