We've had a lot of rain lately, leading to pooling water. Here are some Mallards enjoying a little pond that appeared after a night of particularly heavy rain.

I shot these moments apart with different camera bodies. Sometimes, there's a big difference in the colour even though I shoot raw. I had to do some work to get these to look similar.

You can see the lower shot is less vibrant than the top shot. But in my books both are and would be passable.
If you see some of the sh*t shots that are posted to the local bird page that I am on these kill a lot of the shots.
So to me you have done well. I by the way have no idea about RAW. Which is my next step to learn.
