Do the settings you have added to the camera go back to default after a version (firmware) update? Also, can you re-install the same fimware update? That is if you think the installation was flawed can you install the same version again, or will it just tell you you already have the cuttent version?

Settings. Yes they do, unfortunately. Yes you can reinstall it as far as I know, no reason why not to be honest.

I think there is a way you can save your settings to a card and then reload them off the card after a firmware update.

Thank You, yes I did find that you an save settings. I also put that file onto my computer because I often format the cards. That will help a lot if I do a factory reset
