Viltrox has announced a full frame 35mm f1.2 lens for $999 (USD price sans tax or tariffs) and it looks pretty impressive for the cost.

It does appear to be an excellent lens for the price. The Viltrox lenses are generally well reviewed by members in our Facebook Groups too. I don't think many people are using them here. Maybe they will bring out a long telephoto lens at some point that might appeal to me and other members here.
 
Agreed @Tim Mayo I would also like to see them attempt some macro lenses. A 60mm or 90mm macro lens from Viltrox, with their current level of performance, would be amazing. My only complaint about their current offerings is that none of their APSC lenses, or tiers below "lab" designation, get the weather sealing gasket at the rear of the lens... such a cheap addition but its only present on their most expensive lenses. Sigh.
