Birds Birds in Flight Thread - Post Your Shots Here

Geese are such mundane subjects, I'm always pleasantly surprised when someone can post an image of one worth looking at. This is top-drawer!
Thankyou Tim I honestly wish I didn`t have so many un edited images I really need to find a way to work smarter and cull better (y)

The wingspan of the American White Pelican is approximately 9.5 feet, and their weight can vary, but they typically weigh around 9 to 12 pounds. Image captured on February 9, 2024 in SW Florida. Marabou storks are undoubtedly the ugliest birds in all of creation, yet they manage to be quit elegant in flight...

I have just ordered the 2x to go on my 70-200 f2.8 MKII to give me a little more reach. I hear conflicting reports on the 2x but many say the 70-200 f2.8 MKII is one zoom lens it works well on. As the photos are only for fun and not work I thought it is worth a try. The small birds are so hard to capture, im glad my success rate is higher at my weddings :)
